How do I know if it is safe to buy? How do I know I can trust a seller?

CBD Oil is a regulated product. When you are buying it you want to make sure you buy from a reputable seller, who can provide a certificate of analysis - this is key when trusting a seller.

Providing you buy CBD that is legit, there should be no reason why it would not be safe.

Side effects of taking CBD oil may be mild nausea if taken on an empty stomach or tiredness. If you are having side effects then you might want to lower your dose, or consider taking it after a meal. The majority of users do not have these symptoms.

What do all the different types of CBD oil mean?

There are a few different types of CBD o that you can buy, these are isolate, broad spectrum and full spectrum.

Isolate is just CBD and nothing else. CBD has been aggressively removed from the plant and leaves nothing but the cannabinoid.

Broad spectrum is CBD and terpenes. Terpenes have their own added benefits, which you can read about in detail on our blog.  Full spectrum is the whole plant. This means that everything has been extracted from the plant. While THC is present in this type, it will be within the legal limits of no more than 0.02%. This will not get you high.

What’s better, a bigger bottle or higher strength?

CBD Oil comes in various strengths and bottle sizes. You can get anything from 100mg to 3000mg in strength and from 10ml up to 30ml tinctures.

You need to think about the size of the bottle you are buying when you shop for CBD oil. If you have a 10ml bottle containing 3000mg that is very concentrated and has a high percentage of the cannabinoid. If you have a 30ml bottle containing 100mg this is just 0.33% CBD.

Buying a bigger bottle might seem like a bargain because you are getting volume, however, the concentration of CBD could be lower. Make sure you don’t make this CBD mistake.

Remember, the strength you choose will depend on your own tolerance and how your body's endocannabinoid system reacts to the dose. We always suggest that you start with a low dose and see how your body reacts. You can then increase the strength if you feel you need to, gradually.

Why is hemp seed oil cheaper than CBD oil? What’s better?

Hemp seed oil is a decent oil, but it isn’t CBD. Hemp seed oil comes from pressing the seeds, which do not contain any CBD. However, you will find some good fatty acids and nutrients in this oil. However, as there isn’t any CBD it will not have the same effects on the human endocannabinoid system.

Hemp seed oil is much cheaper because of this. Some sellers may package it to make it seem like you are getting CBD, so make sure you know what you are buying.

How should I take CBD oil?

There are lots of options with how you take the cannabinoid. It doesn’t have to be just tincture oil drops either. Lots of products now are infused with the cannabinoid, such as tea, cosmetics, drinks, food, e-juice and even protein powder!

If you want something which acts fastest, choose tincture drops or vaping CBD. Other methods can take 30 minutes to an hour to have an effect.

Is it legal to buy?

Yes.  It is legal to buy because it contains either 0% THC or less than 0.02% THC. THC is the cannabinoid which is illegal, not CBD.

CBD Oil is legal to buy here in the UK and in many parts of the world. However, make sure you check your country’s own laws before placing any orders to buy it.
